Vedi, The male protagonist in Nation of Giants, is forced to contend with a world much larger than he could have ever known. Born and raised on the isolated islands of Ielsla, all Vedi knew was the life of a whaler. But early on, Vedi’s destiny is beyond his control, and he is sent into the Deep Lands east of Lendos. Once there, he must contend with forces much older and much wilder than anything civilized giants confront.

Stjorna

Torn from her betrothed and pushed away from her family by prophecy, Stjorna is told she must lead a new nation. Raised in the valleys of Vellus in east Lendos, Stjorna could have never anticipated she’d fight, let alone lead in a time of war. As she comes to terms with her destiny, Stjorna must build an army and face the countless hordes of common humans. Yet, even as she’s thrust to the frontline of conflict, Stjorna discovers she’s not the member of her family waging war.
